International Journal of Human Capital in Urban Management (IJHCUM) is a scholarly Open Access (FREE CHARGE PUBLICATION under the CC BY 4.0 license) journal founded in 2016, supported by the Iranian Association of Public Administration (IAPA),  published quarterly since 2018 by Tehran Urban Research & Planning Center: Tehran Municipality (TURPC). Focusing on all aspects of ''Urban Management & Planning'', IJHCUM publishes original research articles, reviews, case studies, and short communications that provide outputs with sufficient novelty. IJHCUM strongly encourages the submission of articles that can make a real contribution to solving urban management challenges. This Journal is committed to following the Ethics in Publishing Committee (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards under ethical law. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through trustworthy iThenticate software to be assured of their originality, and then rigorously peer-reviewed by international reviewers. The IJHCUM Journal has been indexed in well-known world databases mainly; Scopus; Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)EBSCOhost, ICI World of Journals, Information Matrix for the Analysis of Journals (MIAR), National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)WorldCat, Google Scholar, Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), Scientific Information Database (SID) and so on. Iran's Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology has awarded IJHCUM the "A" scientific rating for three consecutive years (2019-2022), and since then, it enjoys an "International" rating.
